It looks like I won’t be able to hook up with Kauilapele this week as his break eclipses ours on the calendar. We’ll have left before he gets back—and now I know why he chose this time to leave Lemuria.
It’s going to be a bad, bad hair day. Every day. Unless the forecast changes.
I’ve packed the bumberchute but perhaps I’ll throw in the wellies.
Maybe you can see from the screen shot below that there is only sun on the first day and rain every day for the rest of our trip.
My experience of Oahu was that IF it rained, it was a cloudburst and the sun was out 20 minutes later.
C’est la vie. We’ll have fun anyway. There’s plenty of exploring to do, and we’ll raise a mug to KP at Java on the Rocks.
A generous reader has offered to give us a tour of the island and I really look forward to that.
Check in with you later. ~ BP

Ugh! Molly, I’m going to pray that this system moves out quickly. There have been quite a few reports circulating how the recent hurricane (Patricia) went from a category 5 down to a 1…tropical storm through prayer and some divine intervention! Have a wonderful and safe trip.
Happy Anniversary!
Dee… The forecast seems to change a lot. Today was gorgeous and the chances of rain each day have gone down. I’m just letting it go the way it will and we will get the conditions we were meant to. It’s still 85 degrees whether wet or dry and we’re enjoying the dramatic change of scenery.
It’s your reality. If you want a little sunshine during your holiday, put in a request for some warming rays and trust that the skies will clear up long enough for you to enjoy and maybe take a picture or two. And don’t forget, the weatherman is often wrong. 🙂
It can always change… But right now the forecast is getting worse rather than better.
Hmmm, perhaps you and Hubby need to process some old Lemurian stuff while you’re there and rainy conditions have a way of helping you to turn inward to the issues that want your attention. I’d guess that if there’s anyway to tie up all those old loose ends before the week is up, the sun will come out to play. One way or the other, enjoy! 🙂
