A Brief Retreat—All’s Well & an Audio with Thomas Williams on OYM Radio

I haven’t been camping in a few years, so we’ve chosen this lovely (possibly wet) time to take a respite in the pines before hubby goes off on his next road show. Just so you know. There is no WiFi in these remote mountain woods so I’ll be incommunicado.

It will be Mica’s first camping trip and should be interesting. He’s still suffering from extreme itchiness, and I now know that it’s from the flea and heartworm protection he had at the beginning of the month, as well as vaccines. Poor Mica has a “lampshade” on most of the time because he incessantly licks his feet and butt.

Golden Retrievers are particularly sensitive to autoimmune situations and that is, I suspect, why so many of them also get cancer. Our first two left us that way.

I am detoxing Mica with some herbs and supplements and the advice of a holistic doctor in Texas I learned of through Health Ranger, Mike Adams. I know the fascination with all the new places and smells we will experience at the campground will be a great distraction for him.

It will be cool in the mountains so we’ll have the opportunity to wear our “Canadian clothes” and possibly to find out if our leaky old tent still leaks, lol. But is there anything better than sleeping in a tent in the rain?

I’ll leave you with Part 2 of Thomas Williams on Open Your Mind radio from the other day. Interesting, as always.

That’s it for now. BP over and out.
