What to Expect at a Tolec “Transformational Shift” Conference

December 25, 2016

Before the year ends, I want to share a little of my experience at Tolec’s conference in Tucson, Arizona in October because it was exceptional, in so many ways, drawing people from all over the world—yet it was the perfect size for my comfort level. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

One of my first observations was that it’s bizarre to hear familiar voices in the room, and even speaking to you, rather than coming from a gadget as they have for years as was the case with Tolec, Alexandra and Mark Kimmel.

As far as what to expect… don’t. It was well planned, yet fluid and full of delightful surprises.

It had to be flexible to accommodate the little things that can materialize—or fail to—such as Simon Parkes unavailability for the Skype visit. Simon has taken a lot of flak from folks saying he doesn’t return emails, phone calls, etc., and he has explained that his communications are seriously messed with.

In this case, Tolec tried to contact him for weeks about the agreed talk Simon was to do, but was unable to reach him so Sierra Neblina stepped up to the plate and delivered an astounding account of her life to date, complete with a walk-in, a broken back, a lost NBA scholarship, and military career—to graze the surface. She is a warrior.

The indigenous element of the conference played a major role in both the opening and closing ceremonies and several times in between. The guests, often in full-feather regalia, shared their profound wisdom and blessed and protected the attendees. We learned that they do not “clap” in appreciation, and we honoured their tradition. I felt they brought a profound tranquility to the gathering, which stands to reason as these First Nations people are strongly connected to and interactive with the Star Nations.

It was impossible to miss the “divine feminine” presence at the conference with the preponderance of sassy speakers like Jenny Marks, who chatters on in various star-languages and translates the messages from those guiding us; Sierra Neblina, as mentioned; Yvonne “Groovy Bean” Palermo with another jaw-dropping overview of what a physically challenging life looks like, and Alexandra Meadors, who overcame her severe physical challenges and has been guiding and propping us up since 2012.

What is clear when you hear the obstacles thrown in the way of women like these, is that they are no ordinary ladies. Nearly every one had to overcome massive physical setbacks—some of which would have had me simply checking out and going for another round of reincarnation. They are extraordinarily strong and earned their stripes in the ranks of Light Warriors.

Not to leave out the men, however, we had powerful deliveries from researchers Mark Kimmel and co-organizer Jim Nichols, Tolec, and Michael Lloyd Brown who does incredible regression work with his clients in Sedona and is a most entertaining fellow. Stewart Swerdlow joined the panel for questions on Day 2 and contributed his brand of truth.

The “grandmothers” also had their time front and centre and I enjoyed the perspectives of Itasha Tashina as she regaled us with stories, images and laughter from life at Standing Rock, as well as Kathy Willcuts’ closing messages, and guidance from Tolec’s close friend Adona/Silver Wolf Spirit Woman. They all encouraged us to recognize who we are, and to stand strong in that knowledge; to bring peace and healing to our world; to be the example.

On Saturday morning I was locked in the conference room briefly with a couple of grandmothers as they performed a sacred cleansing ceremony. They closed the doors to keep out the noise of chatty folks in the lobby so they could focus and those already in their chairs could stay or go; in silence. It was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes.

Another impromptu gift was a tribute video courtesy of Jim Nichols in honour of the beloved local Ufologist and friend Bob Dean, who wasn’t well enough to attend.

While I didn’t get more than two minutes with Tolec because he was near running the entire three days, always in service and ensuring the gears were oiled to keep the machine going, suddenly I was invited to have dinner on Saturday night with Alexandra, Sierra, Jenny and friends, and that was a hoot. What a delightful gang.

The surprises kept coming through the last moments of the closing ceremony. Are you aware that the native flute music Tolec features in his videos is actually HIS performance? He brought a couple of flutes and played for us to begin the ceremony.

Being a writer, I am more of an observer than a participant and despite masses of empty chairs left when most sat on the floor in the circle for the closing ceremony, I sat in the back row next to an elderly woman and her husband who had difficulty with locomotion. As we rose to leave the conference room for the final time, the delicate woman thanked me for sitting with them. That was most unexpected but I gave her a hug in thanks for her gift. I was so pleased to have made that small impact on their experience, however unconsciously done.

The higher guidance continued on the 1.5 hour drive home when the GPS lost the satellite three times. I thought that was odd in the middle of the open desert where there are no obstacles but felt my way along in the dusk, reliving the moments of the past three days and digesting their subtleties.

No one could have predicted exactly how Tolec’s Conference would go, but I knew it would be special and it far exceeded my expectations.

I thank Tolec and his extraordinary guests for a memorable three days; a mini-vacation at a beautiful hotel and for another layer of “knowing”, another layer of Transformation under my belt.

Life unscripted; it’s all good.  ~ BP
