The video is self-explanatory, but I was surprised when they suddenly switched to Tempe, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix, as we haven’t had any significant rain where I am (45 miles away) since a week ago on Friday night and it wasn’t that heavy.
We get some degree of flooding here in the desert every year during monsoon season and even in the fall. Perhaps it was worse in the city this year than usual.
The skies to the north of us are as black as can be at the moment, but when I checked the weather forecast earlier there was zero precipitation expected. We’ll see what happens. Quite often black skies just roll on by, dissipate, and we get nary a drop.
There’s nothing like a Saturday night thunderstorm to delay the BBQ and cool things off.
We will keep our Eastern friends in our thoughts as they sop up that awful mess. Some areas had 8″ of rain in less than 4 hours and Gov. Cuomo (the one that doesn’t think America was ever that great) has declared a state of emergency. I don’t think he’s great, either.

Well here in Upstate/Central New York, we hardly are getting any rain – like you said where you are BP, it’ll look all black and threatening in the skies, then next thing you know the sun comes back out – my garden needs rain – why is it all just East of here??!!
Seems like I’m now a victom of the Liberal Media Censorship going on. My wake up to the truth blog is terminated by wordpress. You know, all this bullshit in the news lately about trump at war with mainstream news, 300 papers sounds like a big number but the dumb public does not know that this is all owned by a handful of people that Trump is bringing down and they are under direct orders from their owner elitists to do it. Remember the Sun is causing many of our climate problems not only here but the entire solar system but i know they are also helping Mother Nature along of it is beneficial for them. We are in Michigan my cousin is in Kentucky and my friend is in Montreal All of us have had lots of rain all Short Spring and Summer along with high heat dropping to the 60s and 70s so this is happening all over North America. Las Vegas Monsoon Season was also not good this year lots of flooding more then normal
Here in north western Europe it has been extremely hot all spring and summer. Hardly any rain. Very unusual.
