Back home north of the 49th we couldn’t miss this spectacle on the lawn of a local establishment this past week. It made quite an impact as there were too many flags to count, gently fluttering in the scattered breezes.
President Trump gave his address in France today to honour the fallen and those who remain in service, but too many North Americans don’t understand the horrors of war. They are fortunate, and we hear comments from some like, “Happy Veterans Day”—like it’s a celebration.
That is an inappropriate response and I hope we will make an effort to educate the inexperienced so they don’t make light of devastating times of pain, suffering, sacrifice, and mass murder.
Yes, honour the fallen, and thank those who still stand on guard, but do not glorify war. There is nothing glorious about the “war effort” and the effect it has on living souls and their families. At best it lines the pockets of the obscenely wealthy.
One can certainly take pride in their nation without glorifying historic events that never should have happened because they were based on lies, deception and manipulation. All wars have been part of a eugenics plan and about conquest and control—not preserving liberty.
The controllers let us believe we were “victorious”… but we never really achieved freedom. They saw to that. They were just more covert.
War is to be avoided and shunned at all costs.
Life is precious, and a society nurtured correctly will never go to war unless it’s a matter of life and death; self-preservation. As a race we will soon work our way through the times when it is necessary to defend ourselves and we can all live in peace on our planet, in our galaxy, and the multiverse forever after.
Today, as we stand and fight alongside our American brothers and sisters, and globally we are embroiled in the War to End All Wars, it is time to reflect, honour, and make a solemn vow to never let history repeat.
The battles we fight today in this WWIII are part of a more bloodless, Humanitarian war as much as it can be so, and this time we SHALL be victorious.
Evil, pain and suffering are soon to be vanquished. Nothing else matters, and that is our focus. We have never fought a war like this, but boldly we go, together, against all odds. ~ BP

I’m so sorry, elga13. You’re correct. Nothing can ever make up for the pain, loss and anguish. We are here to ensure that that never happens again.
