Commercial flights continue in and out of China, according to some reports. The country is not shut down and the lockdown/evacuation seems to be centered in the Wuhan area, however Russia shut down their border with China weeks ago and tour companies have seen Chinese customers cancelling their bookings. The outbreak is definitely having an effect on the economies of multiple countries.

I heard from a German living with his Chinese wife just outside of Wuhan who is
also in quarantine in the house of his wife’s fam. after visiting during the crisis
breakout. He says that young healthy people do not die of the “virus”. people
run panicky to the hospitals with symptoms that may only be the seasonal flew.
Already they are not constantly confined to the house and can leave only if necessary to by food.
They had fam. members visiting from Wuhan 2 weeks back and neither became sick yet.
