In the ever-evolving drama between hours of phone calls to sort out a nightmare of impossible and growing proportion, I picked up a few choice items that define the fantasy we’re living. It keeps me sane.
One of the biggest crimes that needs to be resolved is the trapping of souls in the labyrinth of an automated telephone system, driving people to the brink of frustration. There’s no excuse for it.
Isn’t it ironic that I find solace from reality in a world of conspiracy theories? It’s the other reality that I’m finding difficult to deal with. This is “the show”, but it’s somehow more palatable, more real.
Nothing is normal. It’s very smoky here, smelling like a campground, with a fire atop the mountain the fire crews are letting go because it’s not threatening anyone. A new fire erupted last week east of us and we’ve had red sunrises and sunsets from fires in Arizona and possibly California. The sunlight is thin and weak, but the 112 F heat is oppressive with only a small chance of precipitation. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of electrical activity in the skies and no rain to speak of, potentially starting more fires in the parched desert landscape.
The political scene doesn’t change from day to day, I see.

Two weeks to two years, people. Two years. Will anyone be stupid enough to swallow this? Will anyone believe that any flu is worthy of turning our world upside down and compelling us to cease to live for TWO YEARS? I also believe whole heartedly, law enforcement has the moral obligation to learn truth. I’ve always believed in the “Golden Rule” live by this and just leave people alone if they are not hurting someone or something.
